One Nation Underground
I believe Ill Nino‘s most recent album, One Nation Underground, is their best yet. It was released in 2005, but I just recently bought it. Ill Nino is a Spanish, metal/hard rock band. Their sound is like no other, mixing beautiful, soft Spanish guitar parts and other traditional instruments with heavy, passionate etal. The first hit from this album, “This Is War,“ is only a small taste of the amazing experience of listening to this album. However, the first song I heard is called “What You Deserve,” and I bought it for that song alone. It is impossible for me to pick a favorite song from the album, but I can say that this is my favorite album of the three they have released.
The CD opens and ends with wonderfully heated and powerful songs, but every song in between is amazing. If I had to rate this with those silly star things, I would definitely give it a five out of five, or four out of four, whatever it is. I hope if you like harder music, or are looking to broaden your musical tastes, you listen to this album. It is well worth it, trust me.
