Super Paper Mario for Wii

8 out of 10
Super Paper Mario is a fun game with great game play. It is about how a new villain named Count Bleck is bent on fulfilling the dark prosignostus (a bad prophecy) which could mean the end of all worlds! Count Bleck kidnaps Princess Peach, Bowser, and Luigi. Mario is knocked out while Count Bleck kidnaps everyone except for him. But when he regains consciousness, a strange looking butterfly, whose name is Tippi, comes and tells him that Count Bleck is the fulfiller of the dark prosignostus and he will stop at nothing to make sure it is fulfilled. But one thing he forgets to do is kidnap the fulfiller of the light prosignostus (the good prophecy) who is, you guessed it, Mario. So Mario sets out to save the world yet again, with Tippi at his side.
I liked Super Paper Mario, but I found two major flaws: there were at least 4 fortune tellers and wizards and Peach and Boswer get married against Peach’s will (because she is hypnotized). I like the battle style in this game compared to the other Paper Mario games because you at least have a chance to win, no matter how strong your character is. I really liked being able to flip into 3-D because it makes the game more challenging and fun. Even though this game is very fun and addicting, once you have beaten the main game, the game becomes very boring. I liked every level except for the “Under There” (a video game “Hell”). Overall, I would recommend renting this game once or twice instead of paying $50 to buy it.
