Drums, Girls and Dangerous Pie
Drums, Girls and Dangerous Pie is a sad but very humorous tale. It has to do with childhood leukemia. Steven’s younger brother, Jeffrey, gets leukemia. Steven plays the drums in a high school band called The All-City Jazz Band. There he is known as Pez or the Peasant, even though the other members have nicknames like The King, The Princess, and The Duke. Steven uses his drums to help him deal, but you’ll have to read to discover the mystery behind Dangerous Pie.
