Join the Burnham Society
We invite you to join the Burnham Society, recognizing those who have included the Library Foundation in their estate plans.
Members receive updates from the library director and invitations to special Champaign Public Library Foundation events. Your membership also encourages others to join in helping secure a strong future for the library.
For a bequest of $10,000 or more, your name, or that of a designee, may be added now to the engraved glass donor wall in the library lobby (pictured below).

To Join
To join the Burnham Society, please contact Donna Pittman, development director, at 217/403–2050 or dpittman@champaign.org.

The Burnham Legacy
In 1896, a generous gift from A.C. Burnham in memory of his wife, Julia, gave the library its first permanent home, plus an endowment for books that continues to benefit the library to this day.
