Friends are hands-on supporters

Friends activities, especially their FriendShop sales, raise funds that support reading programs and will help build our new library.

The FriendShop: used books, video, CDs, and unique gifts

The FriendShop on the lower level of the Main Library offers used books, DVDs, and CDs, plus unique gift items. Most books sell for $1 or less. All proceeds support the library.

The FriendShop is open Sundays from 1:30 to 5:30 pm. Take the elevator down to find it.

The sale of used books has provided most of the income that has allowed the Friends to give a generous sum of more than $100,000 to the library in a span of five years.
