According to the Illinois Department of Revenue, Champaign (City) retail sales for 2006 were 958.4 (in millions) as of September 2006. Total retail sales for 2005 were 1,421.9 (in millions).

Urbana retail sales for 2006 were 317.4 (in millions) as of September 2006. Total retail sales for 2005 were 344.4 (in millions).
