MyMediaMall is your source for downloadables. It offers hundreds of popular and classic titles, fiction and nonfiction, available as eBooks, as well as eAudiobooks and eVideos. Some can be burned to CDs or copied to a portable device, yours to keep. New titles are added each week. You can also link to it through the library catalog. Complete text and graphics of well-known reference books such as the “Idiot” guides. Search hundreds of books simultaneously. E-books can be “checked out” for 4 hours at a time, to use online or download for offline use. A limited number of pages may be printed. For access: Set up an account. Subjects covered include business, arts, medicine, technology, and history. Titles offered include: VideoHound’s Golden Movie Retriever, Business Plans Handbook, Gale Encyclopedia of Medicine, West’s Encyclopedia of Law, New Catholic Encyclopedia, Grzimek’s Animal Life Encyclopedia, and College Blue Book.
View articles as simple text or in PDF, which looks just like the original book pages, then print, download, or e-mail them. Mark pages with an “InfoMark” and you can easily return to them (or point someone else to them).
Articles can be translated into half a dozen languages including Spanish, Chinese, and Korean. The interface can also be switched to Spanish and several other languages.
