Meet the Vanishing Woman2:00 PM—2:45 PMThe vanishing woman, Ellen Craft, and the disappearing man, Henry Brown, were slaves who made daring, creative escapes to freedom within three months of each other in the late 1840s. Come meet Ellen Craft, portrayed by actress Jennifer Goran, and historical novelist Doug Peterson, as they present a dramatic production based on the lives of Ellen and Henry. Kids can also crawl into a replica of the box in which Henry escaped.
