Automobile Donations

Description: There are several places you can donate your car. Locally, there is a program that would appreciate used vehicles, the Transportation Resources of Urbana-Champaign. Sponsored by the Urban League of Champaign County and the Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation, TRUC plans to lease the vehicles to low-income working families at low monthly rates. The long-term objective is to enable clients to purchase a reliable car. TRUC also needs money donations for repairs and people who can fix and inspect vehicles and teach monthly care maintenance classes.
